What is the best layout for a mini home theatre?
I have this samsung mini home theatre

I want to put the 2 tall speakers in front, the small two in the back of the couch to get a surround sound, but the problem is I have no wall to hang the speakers on behind the couch and when I put the speakers on the floor their sound is barely noticed. Any ideas??
Also can I get those tall speakers seperately? to replace the small ones? And if it’s possible will it have enough power from the Home theatre since it was designed to work with small speakers?
I am a newbie at this so please help
You will have to buy speaker stands if you can’t hang them on the wall. And remember, surround sound speakers compliment your front speakers, they are not suppose to overpower the front, or be as loud as the front, each speaker has a different job. From looking at your set-up it’s a decent beginner setup, but, if you want a good system, you will need separate components, and a better receiver. You can get a nice system under $1000.
